CONTE FEELS CHELSEA TARGET IS IDEAL REPLACEMENT FOR KANE

The transfer rumors surrounding the future of Tottenham Hotspur star striker Harry Kane do not seem like they will be getting quelled anytime soon, especially with the emergence of even fresher reports. The England international striker has constantly been linked with a transfer away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and almost left the club some months ago but with the insistent of the club owner Daniel Levy against letting his star player leave the club, he was finally combined to remain at the club.

With the rumor mill once again spinning some news about his possible departure from the club, Conte has reportedly identified Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as a potential candidate to replace the England national team captain should he eventually leave the club. This is according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, who has stated that Conte believes Osimhen suits into his style of play and would be a very appealing replacement for Kane should he decide against staying at the club. The no.10 has a contract at Tottenham until June 2024, and it is unclear if Kane will sign a new deal at Spurs. It might be that Kane only remains, if Conte himself pens new terms.

Tottenham owners will be making futurist plans right now just in case Kane makes a decision that does not favor the club, and of course, they would also include Conte in their plans if they want the manager to succeed at the club. Osimhen  23, is widely regarded as one of the hottest strikers in the football world recently given his red-hot form that he has been able to maintain so far this season and a player of his pedigree at Spurs would be a joy to watch as he is expected to fit right into Conte’s team.

Mourinho, during his time as Tottenham manager was also interested in signing Osimhen but he could not do so as the Italian Serie A giants refused to enter into any negotiations that would make them lose their star player.
